AquaLink: Pipe Puzzle – Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 October 2026

This policy explains what information is collected when you play AquaLink: Pipe Puzzle ("the game"), published by Microdesk ("we", "us"). By using the game you agree to this policy.

1. Summary

2. Information we collect ourselves

We do not collect, receive or store any personal information on our own servers, and we never ask who you are. The game does send anonymous usage statistics and crash reports to Google Firebase on our behalf, as described in section 5.

3. Information stored on your device

The game saves the following on your device so that it can continue where you left off: completed levels, stars, coins, unlocked skins, achievements, daily bonus and puzzle dates, best Time Attack score, and your sound and vibration settings. This information stays on your device. It is removed if you use "Reset Progress" in the game's settings, clear the app's data, or uninstall the game.

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The game is free and is supported by ads provided by Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC. To show ads, measure them and prevent fraud, Google's software inside the game may collect and process:

Google may use this information to show personalised ads, depending on your choices and the law in your country. Google acts under its own privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. More about how Google uses data from apps that use its services: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

To fill ad space, AdMob may also show ads from partner networks through "mediation". The game includes the software of two such partners, which may collect the same kinds of device and usage information as Google and handle it under their own policies: Meta Audience Network (https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/) and Unity Ads (https://unity.com/legal/privacy-policy).

Some ads are optional. The game offers rewards, such as coins or extra moves, if you choose to watch an ad. You are never required to watch these.

5. Analytics and crash reports (Google Firebase)

The game uses two services from Google Firebase so that we can understand how it is played and fix faults:

We see this information only as statistics and crash reports. We do not use it to identify you. Google processes it under its own privacy policy, linked in section 4, and under the Firebase terms described at https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

6. Your choices

If you turn off personalised ads you will still see ads, but they will not be based on your interests.

7. Children

The game is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the game, contact us and we will help.

8. Sharing of information

We do not sell personal information. The only information that leaves your device is what Google collects through AdMob (section 4) and Firebase (section 5). Google handles it, together with its advertising partners in the case of AdMob. We do not pass it to anyone else.

9. Data retention and deletion

Game data stored on your device remains until you reset your progress, clear the app's data or uninstall the game. Analytics data in Firebase is kept for up to 14 months and crash reports for up to 90 days, after which Google deletes them. For other data held by Google, see Google's privacy policy linked above.

10. Security

Game data is kept in the app's private storage on your device, which other apps cannot normally read. No method of storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal information. Because we do not hold personal information about you, requests about advertising data should be made to Google. You can still contact us with any question about this policy.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated policy.
